1. Who we are
Klar SIM is operated by Oscar Kakareko (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as Klar SIM, based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@klarsims.co.uk.
By placing an order or creating an account on klarsims.co.uk, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
2. The service
We sell UK eSIM data plans delivered digitally as QR codes. An eSIM (embedded SIM) is installed on your device without a physical SIM card.
Device compatibility. You are responsible for confirming that your device supports eSIM before purchasing. We are not liable if your device does not support eSIM or if your current network operator has locked your device against eSIM installation. Most unlocked iPhones from XS onwards and many modern Android devices support eSIM — check your manufacturer's website if unsure.
Network coverage. Coverage depends on our network partners. We make no guarantees about coverage in specific locations. Coverage maps are indicative only.
3. Orders and payment
We accept payment by UK bank transfer only. No cards or third-party payment processors are used.
- You submit your details on the checkout page. This creates a pending order — it is not a confirmed purchase yet.
- We show you our bank account details and a unique reference number. You send the exact amount shown using the reference provided.
- Once we receive and match your transfer to your reference, we mark your payment as confirmed and send your eSIM QR code by email.
Transfer matching. You must use the exact reference number provided. Transfers without the correct reference may be delayed or unmatched. If you send without the reference, contact us immediately with proof of transfer.
Pricing. Prices shown on the website are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change at any time, but any change will not affect an order already in progress.
4. Delivery
Your eSIM QR code is delivered by email to the address you provided at checkout. Delivery times stated on the website are estimates only and begin from when your bank transfer is confirmed — not when the order is placed.
If you have not received your eSIM within the stated timeframe after payment, contact us at hello@klarsims.co.uk and we will investigate promptly.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Before payment is confirmed: You may cancel your order at any time before we confirm receipt of your bank transfer. Contact us at hello@klarsims.co.uk with your order reference. Any transfer already received will be refunded in full within 5 business days.
After the eSIM is sent: Because eSIMs are a digital product delivered immediately upon confirmation, we are unable to offer refunds once the QR code has been sent to you, unless the eSIM is faulty or was not delivered. This is consistent with your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for digital content supplied with your consent before the cancellation period expires.
Faulty eSIM: If your eSIM QR code does not work, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace it or issue a full refund.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
6. Your account
You may create an account to track your orders and support tickets. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Provide false personal information when placing an order or creating an account.
- Attempt to circumvent our systems or use the website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
- Resell or transfer eSIMs purchased on this site without our express written permission.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, design, and code — is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of this site without our written permission.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or device incompatibility.
Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
